SignalBack vs Hatch

A focused Hatch alternative for unsold estimates

Hatch is a broad conversation platform for home-service teams. SignalBack is an early-access, focused workflow that starts with a free audit of unsold estimates. The right choice depends on whether you need a multi-channel lead platform or a narrow backlog-reactivation layer.

Where Hatch is genuinely strong

Credit where due: Hatch's own site describes AI messaging for SMS and email plus a Voice AI product for answering and booking calls, and its published integrations page lists field-service systems including ServiceTitan, Jobber, JobNimbus, AccuLynx, and Salesforce. Its materials cover more than reactivation — speed-to-lead and broader follow-up workflows too.

That breadth can be valuable when a team wants one platform across several points in the lead lifecycle. Buyers should verify current integrations, plan limits, usage charges, and onboarding details directly with Hatch because its public pricing page is quote-based.

Where a focused workflow differs

We start with one bounded question: which unsold estimates are in the file, what is their face value, and who should be reviewed first? Our free audit answers that today, without a sales call or platform migration.

Our campaigns are still in early access and are designed to bill a subscription plus a per-booking meter. We are not a full replacement for Hatch's broader speed-to-lead, recall, voice, and lifecycle capabilities.

FAQ

Is SignalBack a full Hatch replacement?+

No — Hatch covers many jobs (speed-to-lead, reminders, recalls). We do one job: re-engaging dead leads and unsold estimates. Today that means the free audit; carrying the conversation through to a booked job and reporting the revenue it produced is what our early-access workflow is designed to do, and it is not generally available yet.

Do you do AI conversations like Hatch?+

Not yet in general availability. Our early-access campaign workspace is designed to draft AI-assisted replies with the original quote in context, and to hold sensitive cases such as pricing changes and complaints for human approval. The free audit does not send messages at all.
